Guide to Pricing Ponies, By SOJ!

If you want to sell your ponies quickly, try not to price them too high.
While LLDVSOs, DVSOs, TVSOO/OOOOs, and Starters can sell for resonably high prices,
Long-lined, inbreeded, mixies, with no close hexes, might only sell for 1k - 5k.

It also depends on the ponies looks and close hexes.

People are definately most likely to for the Close-coloured Black Starter, but you could also get aound 10k+ for the Earthiem depending on your buyer.

Also, (this is actually my own pony) I have this DVSO in my Nursery:


He has no close Hexes and is not particularly stunning, but he's kind of cute.
I own his Mother, and his Father is a Free Breed Stud.
This would lower the Price again because he would not be LL.

I'm not sure what to buy him for, so I've posted looking for a PC and put him up for 0 Bid.
I have so far gotten no bids.

But if I was going to price him I'd price him like this:
LLDVSO = 90k.
No close Colours = -10k.
Dad is a Free Breed Stud = - 15k.
Unnamed = +5k.
Has a not very nice Shade of Green = - 5k.
Breed = Fairy.(not the most polular,) = -10k.
Gender = Male(alot of people prefer Female) = - 10k.

Altogether it comes down to 45k, if he was inbreeded or mixed or longlined, that would take the price down about 20k - 30k.

I'd say 30k is the best Price for him, though.

If you are still unsure, try to find ponies for sale in similar colours or lineage and see how much they are going for.

Each mentor will be assigned any where from 1 to 4 new users. Please post your username in bold and what you are best at (PI wise) if you would like to mentor people. If you want to be mentored, just post your username in italics.

Mentors
Your job is to show new users the ropes. Help explain how to do different things. You will be the ones they go to with questions. Any mentor banned for any reason will be removed from the club immediately.

Newbies
Your job is to contact your mentor with any questions you may have. They can give you a walk through on how to do things.

I think I know breeding and the forums the best. Along with anything that has to do with adoptables.

- I am not an active breeder, but I know my genetics and how it works fairly well.
- Gameplay, breeding, questing, contesting, lvling. Ask away!
- Artwork. Animation, adoptable templates, programs, tablets? I feel comfortable on the field of artwork. I can also give some hints and tips on building presentations.
- Adoptables. From templates, to running them, to tips and tricks. I love the adoptable community and feel very at home in this field.
- Roleplay, I know how it functions and give pointers. But I am not a lover of forum RP so don't expect me to lead you in personally.

I am quit allround, I tend to know atleast a little of all fields. I will help in things, but don't expect me to make you a multi paged presentation out of the blue. I'll explain you how to do things, but encouradge for you to eventually do it yourself. Not because im lazy, just so you know what you need to do for another time =3

I wount accept more then 2 active help requesters. I like to give people the attention they need instead of only giving half of it. And with my time table I think 2 is just about what I can manedge. Offcourse if they have found their way ill be open for a new trainee no problem =3

That is a great idea Road Runner! I'll try and talk to a few smaller adoptable and see if they can help us out.
