| The Promise details how the fire nation colonies from TLA become the United Republic of Nations that we see in Korra. Only the first two of three parts are out so we don't know how it ends yet (and I don't want to give away spoilers) but by the end of the second book there is major strife between the earth kingdom and the fire nation over the colonies. Not to mention some shipping issues. Toph has started a school for metalbending. If your RP takes place before the promise then you have a year to play with (The Promise is set 1 year after the war ended). If it's set during then there's going to be some major chaos going down in the colonies. If it's set after then you'll have to be creative since we don't know how The Promise ends yet. |
