![]() | I was just wondering what many people think with regards to LLDVSO that either have different mothers with the same father or vice-versa. I like BrSgenes and since I was torn between the TBs for ZF and Monarch, I was thinking of making two mothers (one Peg with CZFinch/Okapi and a WU with Mon/Okapi) to pair with a Uni boy carrying PCol/SCol. I am also planning of setting a limit of 8 offsprings, so I can get at least all possible breed outcomes from them (ie. Peg, Uni, WU with CZFinch.COkapi and Peg/Uni with CMon.COkapi). Would having step-siblings affect your interest in a LLDVSO pony? |

![]() | It doesn't bother me at all as long as it's made clear when purchasing the offspring. I have two or three DVSO with half-siblings. :3 |

![]() | I have several boys with two mates. **shrug** No biggie. I have no need to conform to the stereotypes that others have defined for me. http://ponyisland.org/index.php?src=forum&sub=replies&forum=26&topic=2957854--> My NEW ML Link! |

![]() | As long as they're still LL then it doesn't bother me. I have a couple of males with 2 mates as I really couldn't decide which I liked best! |

| Personally, it does make me lose interest. I've come across several DVSOs I've liked in the past, but seeing that they do have half siblings immediately makes me lose interest. But then again, I don't like buying DVSOs that are limited to more than 5. So I'm probably just picky, but I've seen a few of them sell for a lot less than they would have if they had simply been the only offspring from each parent. It really all depends on which people are buying when you're trying to sell, just like any other pony. So I think, if you want DVSOs from one pony, but have two possible S-Gene outcomes you like, go for it^^ Sometimes you just have to focus on what you think would be fun to have |

![]() | I see. I'm really torn with the TBs that's why I'm planning on the 2 mothers. ^^ It's good to know that it doesn't affect them much. Actually a limit of 8 is unrealistic since I usually end up getting tired of breeding so it usually stops at less than 5. |

![]() | You could always try to make a 'clone' of the boy, so you'd have one for each girl? |

![]() | I've started caring less and less about 'Limited' ponies. If the baby is gorgeous, I'll buy it and love it. If it isn't, I'm not going to take up valuable stable space with it. |

![]() | It doesn't bother me at all. If the father is limited to 4 kids from the two moms, one mom might have 1, the other 3, or they could have 2 each. Sometimes I get all 4 kids from one female. *shrug* Its just whoever has the DVSOs until the father reaches his limit. Then I release all three ponies. Want a Tattoo? Click for my Shop! ![]() | When I buy a pony, more than one mate doesn't bother me at all. And I have sold ponies with that situation too, but the only thing I promise is that they will only have a certain number of siblings, which I state upfront. My character ponies usually have one set of parents, but that's because they're character ponies. |

Same here. ----- I have several BrS pairs that have two female mates to a male, especially with reindeer and the fawn s-gene. The only reason my pairs are "limited" is because I am lazy with breeding. So I keep the pair until I get the baby I want and they are gone to make room for new pairs. So on average my pairs have 1-4 babies. |

![]() | All of my ponies have multiple mates. It doesn't seem to effect the selling. |

![]() | I don't mind it, and never really have. It's something I'll do occasionally if I generate a really amazing boy, with colors that can be mixed to produce several nice colors, and I can't decide on just one. Right now, I have an amazing double black WU with a white ex. 2 hex. I made him two mates because I couldn't decide on if I wanted white monarch dragons or pale yellow monarch dragons! It saves me much more BP that way. |
