Some of you may recall some of my past posts about moving and my current roomie troubles, so I finally found a place and I am moving on Tuesday! That is only part one of my happy sigh too.
In order to move, I had to ask my parents for (a lot of) help financially (which is stressful for them and me) but they forked over the dough because they knew I needed to get out of this place.
Well... today, I realized that I have JUST enough for the rent but not the bills. This is part of the reason why I haven't been buying any PG or BP recently and have started doing the reverse. So in midst of my panic, I remembered that my parents gave me the savings bonds they made for me when I was a kid and I dug them up and just checked their value and YAY! I can pay the bills!
Oh and btw, I'm not looking for sympathy or anything. I'm in college and I'm poor, big deal - everyone here has or will experience it at one point in their life, I'm just super happy and had to share my excitement.

 | Oh I so understand the poor college student bit. It's stressful, and I live at home! Though I do pay help pay for some of my girlfriend's bills so she doesn't stress so much (and so she has food to eat) sometimes so I understand the bills aspect of it. Still, stress is blarg. > x< I'm happy all of your stuff could get paid though! |
