It probably won't be here. Isn't the sun supposed to explode in a few million years?

I'd be very interested to know what it'll be like in another 500-1000 years.

a jillion is abit overkill.

I often wonder if humans will evolve somehow and become different in a few thousand years.. Or if some scientist in a lab doing some DNA splicing will create some horror that get's out and starts breeding... ha ha




Science is awesome! I can't imagine ever being bored in a scientific field!

it will be like the show on the science channel lol flying cats, giant dogs. no more people the earth will take back over from all the damage humans have done! who knows maybe the sun won't explode an we all involve and live on space stations

It will probably be eaten by the sun, yes.

I was reading something the other day about transferring our brains into androids when our bodies finally fail us. I don't know about you guys, but I plan to live forever as a giant android dragon or something. I don't think I'll stick around earth to see what happens, though.

Life after people is cool, but it banks on people all poofing at once and taking nothing with them. Which is a neat 'what if', but not entirely realistic.

Honestly I think that the next few hundred years will make or break our planet. Science being what it is will either kill off all life with some biohazard (or atleast humanity with some specificaly aimed biohazard/virus), detonate all nukes (thus either demagnatizing our core which is what happened to Mars, or breaking up large chunks/our whole plannet and thus physically distroying the planet below our feet) , ruin our planet to the point we need to leave it or we will smarten up and survive.

Saddly I am exspecting option one or two. I actually have a genetics degree and I know option 1would be disterbingly easy. We all know that the physical capabilities of nukes is there but so far we have managed to avoid that outcome.

The sun will have exploded/gone out long ago, and earth will be a lifeless wasteland.

We'll probably have moved to another planet by then. I mean, the sun's a star, and all stars die. We can't stay here forever.

Or at least... I hope we'll move to another planet.

Exactly though it would be interesting to see what Tech is around.

Maybe someone will find the "turned off" genes for our long-gone tails, grow and harvest human-mutants with tails, and we'll all be lizard-humans that scurry underground eating earthworms.
