The Birth of Fire and Ice
The mare laid almost motionlessly on the ground, gasping for breath. She then yelped and her eyes slowly slid shut. She laid motionless on the ground, her almost lifeless body laid still, not taking in any air. A small foal laid wet and bewildered on the ground next to her almost lifeless body. The small foal then opened it eyes, and looked around. it then spotted it's mother, and got a bit closer to her, it nudged her, but nothing happened, her lifeless body just laid there. The tiny foal got by her face. And saw that her eyes were shut, and that she wasn't breathing. The small foal nudged her again, but nothing happened. The small foal then let a tear fall down it's face. it then landed on the mare's lifeless face. The small foal then got back down by the ground, and laid next it's lifeless mother. Then suddenly, that tear that had landed on the lifeless mare's face, started glowing slightly, then suddenly, it disappeared. And then, the small foal looked, and then it nudged the mother again, then suddenly, she started breathing again! She took in a breathless and deep breath. And her eyes shot open. She then looked down at her small foal, it was beautiful. She was still very weak, but she then reached over towards it and started cleaning it.
"He's beautiful. And he saved my life. If I had been dead for another moment or so, then there would be no saving me then!" The mare smiled. The foal then squeaked with joy, and cuddled close to it's mother.
The mare laid on the ground, she was breathing alright, and she wasn't it extreme pain, but about as much as you are when you're giving birth. She then closed her eyes, and then heaved again. She let out a yelp, and then opened her eyes again. She then weakly looked down at her beautiful new foal, she then smiled, and reached down to clean off her wet and bewildered newborn. After a moment, then it was clean.
"He's beautiful." The mare smiled. The tiny newborn colt then opened his eyes and looked up at his beautiful mother. He then smiled slightly and squeaked with joy. They then cuddled closely together.
