04-19 08:21 Zyara 11232 - USR	Hello Everyone! So I have just realized that I have really improved since the last time I looked at the old files I had of these. They were commissioned from Cryptic for an adoptable, so please do not steal these. That is all I am saying about that. Since this is for an improvement brag! Anyway, I posted in the adopt help and ideas thread, and it came to my attention that these needed a major work over to make them look the best they can. So from November of 2011, I started to work on re-doing these. I struggled and struggled. I asked for help and pointers, and also started to study horses from pictures. I know, its NOT directly a copy of what a horse would look like, but since these are fantasy I let a bit of detail slide. I love doing hair! Its one thing I really enjoy doing. So I am very proud of that tail! It is just gorgeous. I know I will have some work to do, but I believe I have improved a lot in the past 6 months from the before picture. So I am proud to be able to see a huge improvement, and I just wanted to share how I have improved over the time. Its just nice to just be able to see how you have improved. Thank you! And Thank you to the person that helped the most of all! You helped me improve. Comments and helpful critiques are appreciated. Note: I am still working on the new version to finish it up.

04-19 09:35 Kranja 2759 - USR	Oooo. I can see some improvement in the lineart, but I think you're really starting to come into your own on the shading! It's lovely! I am jealous. My lineart is nice enough but I can't shade at all. Very nice work!

I know it has helped me a lot.

I was going for more of a soft touch to the first one without many details, and I loved it. But I wanted to see how I could improve and still make it soft and detailed-ish, and not so harsh. I am very pleased with my result. Yes, the hair shading is so much better. Thank you again!
04-19 22:49 Stalit 7933 - ART	I do still love the new hair and body shading when you first showed me. I'm not sold on the hoof size/shape though. They're bulging a little too much from the leg and look odd in my eyes.

You meanie! j/k I see what you mean though, but they are supposed to have hefty hooves... >.> <.< ETA: Afterall, they live in the mountains.... They need to be able to climb.

They need to be able to climb. D: But goat's and sheep's hooves are pretty small compared to their bodies and they climb mountains. It might just be a personal preference, I just prefer the shape of the hooves in the first picture. More delicate looking so it suits the pose.

Well they are bigger than goats and sheep...So there hooves have to make up for that!
