I just got a new laptop, and I'm considering getting an art tablet to go with it. Which ones are the best for a complete beginner to the digital art world? I was considering the Wacom Bamboo Capture.

I have one of the Bamboo tablets. I just got the cheapest to start with. Which I think was 80$ at best buy |D

I want to upgrade though. I regret not having any buttons on the pad. I don't care about the finger touch but the extra buttons certainly help. Aside from having the two on the side of the pen :/

I'm not terribly familiar with the newer Bamboo models, but I do know that you cannot go wrong with a Wacom. Bamboos are widely considered a good entry level tablet.

I have a Bamboo Create as well and I just got it! I absolutely love it, like sooo much! I have never drawn on a tablet before in my whole life and drawing on this is like I have been using it my whole life! I don't think I will ever use a pencil and paper again! It is that good! I got it on sale for $179. It has a few buttons on it. I LOVE IT!! @_@ Get one for sure!!

I concur with everyone else praising Wacom tablets. I haven't gone wrong with them yet, & I think they're worth the price.
