03-16 14:23 The Customizer 596 - USR	Introduction: After seeing tons of boards asking for help with training quests, I decided to put this little guide together to try to help everyone out. I've read through about 20 pages on the quest board looking at the most common questions asked and will try to cover all of them here. Some information is things that I have figured out on my own, or learned from someone else, and am now including into one place rather than having it scattered here and there through the boards. So, the first thing that must be understood is what the different training options are, what is required to complete them, and what the reward for each one is. This will help you to determine which one you want to do. FAQ's: What are the different kinds of training quests, how many levels does it take and what are the rewards? Newbie: requires 1 level and can only be done once. Rewards 3k. Easy: requires 5-10 levels. Rewards 4k. Medium: requires 10-20 levels. Rewards 8k and 1bp. Hard: requires 30-40 levels. Rewards 15k and 3bp. Extremely Hard: requires 70-80 levels. Rewards 30k and 6bp. Impossible: requires 120-140 levels. Rewards 70k and 10bp. How long does it take to complete a ___ quest? An easy quest can take as little as one hour, where-as an impossible quest can take upwards of 2-4 months (depending on how much time you dedicate to questing and how quickly the pony levels up) however there are ways to lessen the amount of time spent on questing and finish quests faster (which we'll get to a little later on). How do I level my pony? By entering contests your ponies will gain experience, as this experience adds up your pony will gain levels. A little "L" will appear on the picture of your pony when you go to your stables. Go to your pony's stats and you'll see where you can deploy a level Some quests simply require you to get your ponies to a certain level, in which case you can deploy that level to any stat (I.E. charisma, strength, etc). Others will require it be deployed to a specific stat. For those questing by level, once you have deployed the level and your pony has reached the goal your quest with that pony will be complete and you can go on to the next (level quests are usually only for newbie and easy quests. Medium+ quests are stat quests.) What kind of contest should I enter/How can I level faster? There are tons of different types of contests that run every hour, however, if you are looking to level faster then marathons are what you really want to enter into, more specifically split marathons (I.E. adult marathon 0-50, adult marathon 51-100, baby 0-30, etc, etc.) For lower level ponies it makes it possible to gain at least a level an hour (depending) and occassionally you can gain up to 2 levels in an hour (rare, but it does happen.) Now this does mean that you'll have to put a bit of an investment into your training, rarely are the free contests split into levels, but a lot of people have 3-5pg split marathons so it's not that bad What about training my high level ponies? Once your ponies (babies especially) get over the level 25-30 mark, it is sometimes more helpful to train them faster in the unlimited marathons as there will be more contestants in those, so you'll gain more exp. With adults, a lot of marathons are 0-50 and 51-100 and those fill up pretty well, once you get over level 100 you might consider entering in the unlimited marathons to compete in a filled contest and get more exp that way. Extra Tips: By contesting your other ponies with your questers (and not deploying the exp) you can complete more quests, this comes in real handy for those who only have one account and can only do 3 quests at a time. As one pony completes a quest simply find the pony in your stable who has gained the most levels (there is a level guide at the end of this) and put that one on a quest. I personally usually do the medium quests because I can often complete 5 or so a day, contest for a couple days getting 2-3 medium quests each day and then be able to turn around and complete another 5 or so. So I've always got bp coming in every day. (which is good since I'm a starter junkie lol) For examples of this you can look in my stables. The +# in front of each pony's nickname is how many levels they've gained, this way when I go to put a new pony on a quest I don't have to try to remember which pony was the highest gain or open a second window. For example, once my babies pass level 25 or 30 I don't sign them up in the split levels any more. They do better in the unlimited marathons competeing against other higher level babies (because often the higher level splits don't fill up all 100 contentants, while the unlimited marathons do). My higher levels get more experience that way, I've seen.

03-16 15:17 Questers' Haven 1805 - USR	I'm gonna TRY to do these in order but there are a few things that need corecting: I know this is true but they still haven't gotten around to updating the manual but the Impossible Quest pays 70k PG & 10 BP... they raised it a couple of months ago... Just wanted to make sure everything was the right info...lol Good job though! 04-02 00:14 The Customizer 711 - USR	basically, contest all your ponies at once but only level up your ponies on quests. Don't level up the other ponies. That way, as one pony completes a quest, you can find the pony with the most experience gained and put them on the next quest. For example: Pony A has just finished a quest. You go through all your ponies and find one that has gained 15 undeployed levels, you put that one on a medium quest and your chances are good that the pony will complete the medium quest immediately or be 1 or 2 levels off of completing a quest. So you just gained 2BP and 16k, essentially "at once".

I've always thought that ponies have to win top 3 in the contest in order to gain levels, and often wondered why sometimes my lower level ponies gain levels though they did not win top 3, and my Hwee couldn't gain level even though sometimes he would win up to 4 "1st" in a contest. At least now I know why haha!

05-29 06:39 springacres 699 - USR	I would also suggest having at least 2 easy training quests at the same time, that way you'll get periodic boosts to your PG to help with the harder quests. And personally I would not recommend hard quests for a pony with any stats under 10. Use those ponies for one or two easy quests first, then they'll be better prepared for the challenge of the hard quests. My PIFF Feedback
