 | Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I believe you would have to cross a WU with a Mer, and a second WU with a dragon to get a Vis Monarch Mer and a vis Monarch Dragon then cross the two. ^_^ Hope that helps -WRG    |

| As far as I know you can't breed that on a Merdrag directly because when you breed a WU to a Merdrag it will give you everything from Earthies to merponies, dragons, unis or WUs. It will NOT give you a Merdrag. That will take in-between steps. I guess your best bet is to have four starters: Merpony/WU and Dragon/WU. Breed the Monarch on the Merpony and the dragon then breed those two together and hope for a Merdrag? I can't imagine any other way it could work ... Friends are like stars - you may not always see them, but they are always there. |

 | Since merponies are a hybrid do your self a favor and get the monarch on the dragon pony. If you do not want. Coloured monarch than breed a WU to a merdragon o get the merpony. I am doing a similar project, only I am doing all SBR as SOO good luck! |

| The easiest way may be to have two MerDragon/WU pairs, or one MerDragon/WU pair and another Dragon/WU pair, as I don't think MerPony/WU will ever actually produce a MerPony, but earthies, seas, unicorns or pegs. | Well, the others have good examples, but I need to write this down in case someone comes by and would like to check this for me and tell me if I'm at all right? :'D Okay then, let's see. I think the way I would do it would be to create a DCS pair of a WU and a Dragon, and wait for them to throw a DVSO with MStripes and CMonarch. Then breed that DVSO with a starter MerDragon (Or MerPony? I don't know which would be better in this case) with PCol/MStripes. It's still a bit complex as the result isn't a CMon-DVSOO all of the time, but it's the option I came up with that needs the least amount of starters.    |

SVS WU Monarch x SVS Dragon QStripe DCSO Monarch/QStripe Dragon x DCS MerPony PCol/QStripe 1/5 chance hybrid, 1/16 chance DVSO OR SVS Monarch x SVS QStripe MerDragon (if, like me, you think a hair gene on an SVS dragon is slightly... pointless) DCSO Mer Monarch/QStripe x DCS Dragon PCol/QStripe Same as above. But little less chance of getting the Mer. With a DVSO x DCS you end up with a 1/16 chance for the DVSO, and then a 1/5 for hybrid, and a 1/8 for the final breed DVSOO. 1/2 on the hair x 1/2 on the PCol from the DCS x 1/2 on the Pattern from the DVSO.    |
