Sunsong is a title, an earned name, given only to the truly deserving by the high priestesses of the Ascendancy Sun Temple themselves--one he has taken with pride, honor, and little surprise. He never plans to relinquish it.

Despite his vanity and egocentrism, all of it well-earned and well-proven on the battlefield and the peace table alike, Sunsong is unwaveringly faithful to his homeland and its rulers. He rarely backs down from a fight, but he will cede arguments to those above him, provided he respects their authority. The occasions where has not have led to...problems.
