| I don't. It's nice if I win a pretty one, but I rarely win. And I'm more and more taking to running my own splits, but I have no artistic talent to speak of, so just defaults. I would, I confess, prefer a default ribbon to an /ugly/ ribbon. And I've seen a few. >.> But overall, it's a mix of cost and availability. I've about 75 ponies, so it's hard to find spots for them sometimes.  |

 | To be honest i dont think that a nice ribon is the major thing for entering a contest, i think the fact that you want to compete should be the only reason to enter. The ribons are only there to show off the fact that you got lucky and/or have a great pony. No regrets, No compromise!  |

| Not at all!! I'll enter for 2 reasons, low entry fee/free contest and because there are enough spots left for my ponies, prize ribbons are not a consideration for me!  |
